Overview

Glenville State College is a small public liberal arts college that prepares undergraduate students for careers in teaching, business, land resources, music, the liberal arts, the sciences, criminal justice, and human services. Often referred to as the Lighthouse on the Hill, Glenville is West Virginia’s only centrally located public college. Glenville is a small school with average class sizes of 15, but has the opportunity and price of a large state school. Glenville State College is the best of both worlds. Over the last three years, GSC graduates have a 100% acceptance rate to Physical Therapy School, Medical School, and Pharmacy School. If you qualify for an $8,000 scholarship, you can attend Glenville for less than $18,000 per year. That is a great value!
