Master’s in Psychology – Marshall University

The Master’s in Psychology degree program exposes students to the following primary clinical orientations: integrative, behavioral, cognitive behavioral, and psycho-dynamic. In the context of this exposure, students are encouraged to develop an orientation that is best suited to his or her style and situation.

The degree is offered by itself or with a clinical emphasis.

Areas of Emphasis:

  • Clinical Psychology

    •  The Master’s in Psychology degree with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology is designed to prepare students for master’s degree level clinical roles with professional psychology.

  • School Psychology

    • The Master’s in Psychology degree with an emphasis in School Psychology is designed to prepare students for entry into the School Psychology Education Specialist program.
