English as a Second Language (ESL) – Shepherd University
The English as a Second Language program offered by Shepherd University is designed for students who need advanced English Language skills for university-level studies. This course offers intensive instruction in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar-in-use skills to nonnative speakers of English.
Two listings are available for students who are interested in this course. The pre-undergraduate and the pre-graduate course both put a focus on developing English skills, where the pre-graduate takes it farther by focusing on research-based written and oral presentation style and methods required in studies at that advanced level.
