Overview
It’s hard to describe Potomac State College because we don’t really fit neatly into any category. It’s almost easier to explain what we’re not: we’re not a community college and we’re not “just” a two-year school. Yes, many of our students earn two-year degrees but we also offer four-year programs, over 50 academic programs in all. We’re a division of West Virginia University with six residence halls, 11 sports teams, over 20 clubs/organizations and plenty of activities. Best of all, we are extremely affordable. One thing is certain about Potomac State College: we’re definitely more than you might expect.

Potomac State’s tuition and fees are the lowest of any four-year institution in West Virginia according to the West Virginia Higher Education Report Card.
