Overview

Concord University is a four-year public liberal arts university located in Athens, West Virginia, about an hour and a half from Charleston, West Virginia, and Roanoke, Virginia. Airports in both cities offer flights to and from many major U.S. cities. Concord University provides rigorous programs which prepare students to pursue various graduate study and career options and to assume leadership and professional roles in a multicultural society. International Admissions Requirements

    • 2.0 Cumulative GPA (2.5 Core GPA)

    • A minimum TOEFL score of 60 (internet-based test) – Code 5120

    • A minimum IELTS band 6.0

    • A minimum Duolingo English Test score 85

    • A minimum EIKEN score of 2A

    • A minimum iTEP score of 3.5

English Language Program

A year-round intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program is offered for students who do not meet the minimum English proficiency requirement for admission to a degree program. New program start dates begin August and January. Dual enrollment Pathways program (ESL + undergraduate courses) is available for students with iBT TOEFL scores over 50/IELTS 5.0/Duolingo 70.
