The Bachelor’s in Athletic Training degree program prepares students to assist in the diagnosis, assessment, management, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses in physically active people. Athletic Trainers work under the supervision of a physician and assist with the care and well-being of physically active people. The Athletic Training program is recognized by the American Medical Association as allied health professionals.
Graduates of the Athletic training degree will demonstrate effective skills in communication and ethical decision. They will provide a culture of peer mentoring and leadership that builds knowledge, strengthens clinical skill application, and facilitates an environment of continuous learning.
